The main focus of the Young Marines is to provide Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) training to it's Young Marines. We provide a minimum of one hour each month/three hours per quarter to meet the requirements set by Congress and our Young Marine National Headquarters.

Some of the main events we participate in each year are:

National Drug Facts Week (January 2015)

Kick Butt's Day *Cigarette Butt's (March 2015)

Red Ribbon Week (October 23rd-31st every year)

We do various activities and events to help raise awareness in the local communities not just during these major national events, but throughout the year as well.

Our Young Marines volunteer their time to travel to different elementary schools, middle schools and other youth clubs/organizations or groups in the local and surrounding cities to do special presentations for young kids, set-up informational booths at special events in the local cities, and talk about the dangers and consequences of drugs to youth at certain major events we are invited to when appropriate.

If you are a school teacher, principal, instructor or leader and are interested in having the Young Marines visit your school or organization, please email us at or contact us via the contact us page. We would be happy to see what we can do for you.
